ABOUT DR. SANJIT KOONER
Dr. Sanjit Kooner received his DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) from UBC in 2005. Prior to dental school, he obtained a B.Sc. in Biology.
After graduation, Dr. Kooner started off working in the Downtown Eastside, bringing much needed dental services to underprivileged clients.
In 2009, Dr. Kooner opened Murrayville Dental Clinic and in 2016, he opened Clayton Market Dental. He has successfully been serving the people of Cloverdale and Langley ever since.
Dr. Kooner also served as a clinical instructor at UBC from 2011 to 2013. Currently, Dr. Kooner provides mentorship programs to many aspiring dentists.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Kooner is an avid golfer, enjoys snowboarding, and plays ice hockey and basketball. He enjoys traveling and is a proud father of two children.
In 2024, with the addition of Georgetown Dental, he hopes to help and serve the people of Central Surrey.
Dr. Kooner firmly believes that a healthy and beautiful smile can make a world of difference for many people. It is a privilege to be able to positively impact peoples’ self-esteem and confidence. His goal is to provide dental care to a high standard of excellence and to deliver it in a manner that will surpass your expectations.
ABOUT DR. JIMMY KAM
Dr. Kam grew up in Vancouver and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland in Baltimore. Early in his career, he practiced in Chilliwack, Vancouver, Richmond, and Burnaby before establishing his practice in Surrey. For the past 17 years, Dr. Kam has been dedicated to serving the Surrey community, providing comprehensive dental care with a special focus on cosmetic dentistry to help patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Kam is a passionate vintage watch enthusiast and collector. He also enjoys working on restoring his classic car to its former glory.
Surina
A graduate of UBC’s dental hygiene degree program, Surina is passionate about preventive care and believes in educating patients to empower them in their dental wellness journey.
When she’s not covered in PPE, you can find her perfecting her thai tea recipe, attempting to
overhand serve in volleyball, or increasing her listening time on Spotify.
Gigie
With over 30 years of experience, Gigie is a dedicated Certified Dental Assistant and a proud graduate of Vancouver Community College.
She loves helping patients feel comfortable and confident in their dental care. Outside of the office, she enjoys ballroom dancing and hiking with her 2 dogs.
She’s also a proud mother of two.
Gauri
Gauri Verma, a trained dentist from India practicing currently as a Certified Dental Assistant, brings both expertise and warmth to our clinic.
With a strong clinical background in the field of dentistry and the ability to seamlessly handle front desk responsibilities, she ensures every dental visit is smooth, supportive, and stress free.
Passionate about creating a comfortable experience for the patients, Gauri combines compassion and just the right dose of humor to help patients leave with brighter smiles inside and out.

Tina is a dedicated and highly valued Senior Receptionist at our office, known for her exceptional organizational skills and friendly, professional demeanour. Since completing her Reception Program in 2020, she has become an indispensable part of our team, ensuring the office runs smoothly and efficiently. With a deep understanding of office operations, Tina works full-time, offering vital support to both clients and colleagues alike. As the second-in-command to our manager, she plays a crucial role in maintaining a welcoming environment and streamlining daily tasks, making her an integral part of our workplace.
